Charley is currently the Senior Minister for the University Church of Christ. He joined the University Ministry Team in 1984 as Campus Minister and continued to serve in that role until 2008. He has also served as the Pulpit Minster for different stints of time, most recently, from 2001 until the present.
He is a Murray native, a graduate of MHS (77), a graduate of Freed-Hardeman University (B.A. 83), and a graduate of Harding School of Theology (M.A.R. 89). He loves God, his family, especially his grandchildren, McKenzie, Mason, Maddie, Colten, Ella, Maggie, and Mack, and his church. Charley enjoys listening to music, camping with his family, and backpacking with friends, especially when it’s cold because he hates snakes.
