Danny serves as Worship Leader and Deacon at the University Church. He has lead worship at the University Church for over 30 years. He is married to Gina Gargus Claiborne, a native of Murray. Danny and Gina have one son, Wes, who is married to Heather Henson Claiborne, who have one son Judah Mark Claiborne.
Danny grew up in Dalton, Georgia. He attended Freed-Hardeman University and Murray State University, completing an undergradaute and graduate degree at Murray State. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Missouri-Columbia and has recently retired as Director of the School of Engineering at Murray State University after having been a faculty and administrator for 37 years. Danny enjoys singing and praising God with the University Church family.
